Make an impact with our Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) team as a Senior Manager. YOUR ROLE @ MNP

Performance Expectations

  • Interface with client finance departments / CFO's / controllers at technology and manufacturing companies related to government incentives such as : Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED), E-Business, Digital Media, C3I programs, and others
  • Interface and work together with MNP's SR&ED team members to prepare SR&ED and E-Business claims, and others
  • Assist clients in identifying, determining eligibility and claiming activities and eligible expenditures
  • Gather supporting documentation and evidence of experimentation sufficient to satisfy the requirements of the tax authorities Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), and Revenue Quebec
  • Manage multiple clients; deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Interact with peers, clients, Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Revenue Quebec representatives as needed
  • Network and market MNP SR&ED services to existing and prospective clients

Credentials

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in accounting,; a Master's Degree in a related field would be considered an asset
  • CPA designation is preferred
  • Bilingual (French / English)
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience working with SR&ED and E-Business claims, corporate income tax
  • Focus on achieving high quality, timely and profitable results
  • Knowledge of how financial service organizations like MNP operate
  • Additional CPA courses such as the "In-Depth Tax Program" are considered an asset
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on mandates across Canada
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Some travel may be required
