Job description

The Manger Operational Excellence, Quality is responsible for the identification, the implementation and the monitoring of operational gains of operation improvement projects for the Quality division of Pharmascience.

The position holder will be responsible for the management of lean Projects to increase the productivity of the Quality teams and reducing costs and testing cycle time, improving compliance, reducing errors, minimizing waste and reducing variation.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage continuous improvement projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity within the Quality department
  • Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify, analyze, and implement process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on project outcomes to senior management.
  • Develops and manages the Quality continuous improvement plan for all divisions : TP, Candiac, Royalmount and Corporate.
  • Delivers full expected benefits and savings without compromising quality and compliance of the affected systems and processes.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members on Lean Six Sigma principles and tools.
  • Continuously reviews quality systems and associated processes to ensure proper compliance to relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :

  • Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt certification or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the Canadian and US Food and Drugs laws; Similar knowledge at the European level would be an asset
  • Ability to manage priorities to meet tight deadlines and ensure follow-up
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Excellent management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal relations and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
