The Director of Media takes marketing to the next level by developing and spearheading the paid media strategy that will differentiate Holt Renfrew, while ensuring complete integration across all channels and consistency with the company’s overall goals. Serving as the strategic expert and thought leader in paid media, this role will primarilywork cross-functionally withCreative,Trade Marketing, e-Commerce and CRM teams to bring campaigns to market. You will lead our approach to both Brand and Performance media, working with internal stakeholders and external agencies to maximize brand equity, drive revenue, and customer KPIs. Innovation is paramount to this role, and you will be responsible foridentifying and utilizing emerging trends, platforms, and technologies.
Additionally, The Director of Media will oversee and be accountable for all partner agencies and contractors pertaining toMedia, Affiliate, SEO, and Second-Languageprogramming. They will ensure these relationships are driving ongoing attributable benefit, speaking to contribution and business impactas necessary.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following :
Ownership of agency and partner contracts and agreements, negotiating and providing recommendations back to executive leadership
Providing strategic and technical expertise on demand generation initiatives for online and in-store sales
Work closely with e-Commerce,Finance, and Trade Marketingto increasethe effectiveness of Performance Mediaand SEO
Lead Paid Media Brand strategy and tactical execution for Holt Renfrew and our vendors, partnering with Trade Marketing to further diversify revenue streams
Develop customer acquisition and retention strategies that ladder up to organizational objectives
Contribute on go-to-market communication strategies,working with Brand Marketing, Creative and Content teams
Take a data-driven approach to optimizingexisting practices, planning and implementing new media strategies and / or channels in support of business KPIs
Formidable knowledge of demand generation, conversion funnels, ROI analysis, building a brand, cross-channel marketing, and integrated marketing
Leading innovation and advancement of the overall integrated marketing agenda through the development and execution of a multi-year roadmap
Drive increased adoption of all channels and accelerating improvements in overall marketing efficiency

Up to date on the latest technologies and trends in performance marketing
The ideal candidate :
Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
8+ years of post-university work experience, including a minimum of 5+ years leading a business unit or enterprise-wide strategy
Demonstratedanalytical and quantitative acumen with experience in media and analytics platformssuch a GMP, GMC, Meta, GA360, Google Cloud, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and others
Previous exposure to Media sales or partnerships across both traditional, digital and affiliate channels
Performance driven marketer who understands and can speak to business impact of directly attributable, modelled, or qualitative media results
To be successful in this role, this executive will need to be an independent leader with the ability to execute quickly and decisively, as well as analyze and identify patterns among data sets, and be genuinely enthusiastic about finding innovative solutions to complex problems
