Senior UI / UX Developer

Location : Markham

Type : Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior UI / UX Developer with strong design and technical skills to create intuitive, visually stunning web and mobile interfaces. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Convert designs into reusable, modular code, optimizing for scalability and performance.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to implement wireframes and prototypes.
  • Write clean, testable code and ensure code quality through reviews.
  • Stay updated with UI / UX trends and advocate for best practices in accessibility and responsive design.
  • Work with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless experiences.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years in front-end / UI development with a focus on user-centric applications.
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / TypeScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) and responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Strong UX knowledge and ability to collaborate on wireframes and prototypes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
