We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Asphalt-Paving Machine Operator to join our road construction team. The operator will be responsible for operating paving equipment used to lay asphalt on roads, parking lots, driveways, and other surfaces. This role requires precision, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment under varying weather conditions.

Overview :

– Languages : English

– Education : Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience

– Experience : 1 year to less than 2 years

– On site : Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Job Duties :

– Operate heavy equipment

– Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment

– Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools

– Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade

– Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces

– Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures

– Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement

– Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures

– Operate power vibrators to compact concrete

– Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification

– Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces
