Position Summary

The Shipper / Receiver is responsible for loading and unloading trailers, processing shipment orders, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe shipping environment. This role supports overall plant operations by coordinating the flow of materials and finished products, in alignment with safety and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, package, and load finished products onto flatbed trucks, ensuring products are free from damage and loaded according to safety protocols.
• Prepare shipments by pulling, assembling, palletizing, stretch-wrapping, packaging, and labeling materials.
• Verify all incoming and outgoing shipments by inspecting and counting / measuring to confirm accuracy and timely delivery.
• Place inventory in designated storage locations and maintain an organized stock area.
• Deliver materials (e.g., starter pipe, supplies) to various plant areas as needed.
• Bundle and move pipe to appropriate yard storage areas.
• Safely operate forklifts and cranes in accordance with company safety policies.
• Participate in periodic inventory counts within the shipping department.
• Support and participate in LEAN and 5S initiatives.
• Actively engage in Health & Safety training and promote a safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
