Who are We?
Trim Landscaping is a full-service landscaping company that provides commercial and large-scale high-end residential and landscaping services in Nova Scotia. We are continually growing and are looking to add a Project Coordinator to our team! We have done many premier maintenance and design-build landscape projects like Argyle and Spring Garden streetscapes, Queens Marque and the Peggy Coves Viewing Deck.

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with education or experience in construction project coordination whos ready to take the next step in their career and contribute to the growth of our business. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, quick learner, and practical problem-solver who is comfortable juggling priorities, supporting the team where needed, and stepping up during busy periods to help see projects through to completion.
What will you Own?
Reporting to the Project Manager the Project Coordinator will assist with Trims construction projects. Duties include but are not limited to :
- Order, track and coordinate daily deliveries with project teams
- Maintain project documentation; contractual agreements, WCB, COI
- Procurement and tracking of long-lead time items
- Issue purchase orders for materials and products
- Match invoices to purchase orders
- Complete contract administration and submittals on award
- Complete contract administration and submissions for project closeout with Project Manager
- Order, track and document testing for projects
- Track pricing from vendors for up-to-date pricing to Pre Construction Manager & Project Manager
- Draft subcontracts and letter of award for vendors
- Maintain project logs and daily submittals; shop drawings, RFIs etc.
- Attend project handovers and debriefs
- Attend project meetings and take meeting minutes
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating jobs from contract award to completion of project
- Complete takeoffs to aid in ordering and construction coordination
- Track daily safety submissions and submit to clients as required
- Complete draft invoices and time & material submissions
What are we looking for?
University degree or technical diploma with a focus in a construction related disciplinePrevious project support experience is considered an asset.Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailExperience with Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft 365, Adobe and Procurify would be considered an asset.Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.Valid driver's license and reliable transportationWhat do we Offer?
