Teaching Assistant – Systemics

WCCMT New Westminster is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for our Registered Massage Therapy program.

Hiring Manager : Amy Van Sickle

Hours : Monday and Friday mornings (18 classes)

Class delivery : In person

Course : Systemics

Role : To assist Instructors in curriculum delivery and other duties related to instruction,

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Assist the primary instructor in all aspects of curriculum presentation in the classroom including practical demonstration, one-to-one tutorial and / or “table” assistance for students, attendance records, audio-visual technical assistance, and general duties that may arise in the classroom, as directed by the primary instructor for the smooth operation and organization of classes.
• Prepare for class from notes provided by the primary instructor or other materials, for the purpose of being prepared with a thorough understanding of the theory and practical implementation of course curriculum as it pertains to individual classes the employee assists
• Assist with all practical evaluations scheduled in class time.

Required Qualifications : Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the CCHPBC

Required Experience : hours related clinical experience.
