Service Technician (Dayshift) - Drilling and Intervention

JOB SUMMARY

NOV is currently recruiting a Service Technician to perform downhole tool dismantling, cleaning, inspection, assembling, testing, repairs, and other duties associated with the service center in Nisku, AB. Dayshift 6am - 2 : 30pm

This position is classified as safety sensitive, and employment would be conditional on satisfactory completion of a pre-employment testing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely dismantle, clean, inspect, assemble, repair, test and paint downhole tools per NOV standards of quality of safety
• Ensure that all serviced tools are in acceptable working order and maintained / serviced per NOV procedures
• Complete all necessary documentation and data entry during service process.
• Perform equipment inspections as per required procedures
• Maintain 5S / housekeeping of work area
• Communicate to Management any issues with equipment, tools, inspections, and HSE concerns
• Other duties as assigned
