Job descriptionBachelors degree / college diploma in computer science or equivalent industry experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in information technology and cyber security. Knowledge of Check Point OS, rules and advanced troubleshooting. Knowledge of Palo Alto OS, rules and advanced troubleshooting. Knowledge of LAN / WAN and network protocols. Previous experience with SNMP monitoring using tools like Orion. Previous experience setting up and troubleshooting NETFLOW on Checkpoint & or Palo Alto. Knowledge of monitoring tools and commands to ensure quick resolution to issues. Knowledge of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) technologies, specifically Prisma.

Global Firewall Engineer Job Description
- You will provide engineering support for firewalls on multiple platforms across the Deloitte global infrastructure; lead engineering projects to completion working with other Deloitte teams and vendors; and deliver successful deployments according to architectural standards.
- Additional you will : Work on assigned issues or tasks related to firewall OS configurations.
- Work on assigned issues or tasks related new or existing rule implementations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives which drive efficiency and improvement within the GTS Firewall Management Service.
- Assist with security audits and remediation of security-related issues.
- Bring problems to a resolution within a timely manner and escalate complex technical issues.
- Ensure firewall services and systems are always available and reliable.
