The selected candidate will contribute to the company’s success by taking on the following responsibilities
Support the Procurement Department :
- Generate various required reports
- Ensure daily follow-up on purchase orders with suppliers
- Maintain communication with suppliers and internal departments
- Perform system-based receiving of goods
- Conduct certain purchases
- Carry out cycle counts
- Support the Customer Order Processing department
- Perform various administrative tasks
Support the Logistics Department :
Participate in shipment planning using the DSMS system by coordinating pickup schedules with carriers and collecting and analyzing quotes for Less-than-Truckload (LTL) shipmentsPrepare shipping documentsVerify, scan, and file proof of deliveries (PODs)Communicate with carriers to ensure smooth delivery operationsRespond to inquiries from the Customer Service Department regarding shipment statusesRespond to urgent service parts requestsConduct feasibility analyses for on-site deliveriesWorking daily with like-minded colleagues

You hold an AEC or DEC in logistics, procurement, administration, or any other related field — or you have significant experience in a similar roleYou are bilingual, both written and spokenYou have strong communication skillsYou are proficient with Microsoft Office SuiteYou are familiar with transportation software (an asset)You have knowledge of customs procedures (an asset)You have strong organizational skills, can manage priorities effectively, and are resourcefulYou possess strong analytical and problem-solving skillsTruly attractive working conditions
