Salary : $55,000 per year

Job Type : Permanent, full-time (35 hours / week), onsite only

We are currently seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist who is able to communicate (both oral and written) with international suppliers in the US and China. Knowledge of Accounts Receivables is a definite asset.

Key Responsibilities :

• Printing, coding, matching, and posting vendor invoices received via email
• Matching invoices with vouchers and distributing bills for approval
• Processing import invoices accurately and timely
• Creating and maintaining vendor profiles, ensuring correct payment methods are set up
• Conducting weekly payment runs for Canadian and American vendors via EFT bank payments
• Preparing manual cheques as needed
• Processing employee expense reports
• Reconciling vendor accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Providing support in Accounts Receivable tasks when required
• Ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner to facilitate month-end closing
• Organizing and filing paid bills and cheque copies
