Position : Accounts Payable Specialist
Location : Montreal East
Salary : $55,000 per year
Job Type : Permanent, full-time (35 hours / week), onsite only
We are currently seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist who is able to communicate (both oral and written) with international suppliers in the US and China.
Knowledge of Accounts Receivables is a definite asset.
Key Responsibilities :
- Printing, coding, matching, and posting vendor invoices received via email
- Matching invoices with vouchers and distributing bills for approval
- Processing import invoices accurately and timely
- Creating and maintaining vendor profiles, ensuring correct payment methods are set up
- Conducting weekly payment runs for Canadian and American vendors via EFT bank payments
- Preparing manual cheques as needed
- Processing employee expense reports
- Reconciling vendor accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Providing support in Accounts Receivable tasks when required
- Ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner to facilitate month-end closing
- Organizing and filing paid bills and cheque copies
Requirements :
- Bilingual proficiencyto communicate (both oral and written) with international suppliers in the US and China
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and general computer literacy
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
