About The Position
Focus on the Family Canada is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to join our Focus Famille team who will support the francophone families in Canada with guidance and teaching according to God’s design for life, marriage and family. This role may lead daily devotions, prayer time and Bible Study with their team. This role will assist the Program lead with various communication productions, including the production of a French-language magazine, maintenance of French websites, social media accounts, e-newsletters, direct mail campaigns, events, and other resources as needed.
You must be bilingually fluent in French and English – written and spoken, organized and with strong time management. The position is based remotely and is eligible for health and dental benefits.
Key Job Functions
English / French Translation
- Read, select (along with the Program Lead) and, when needed, translate articles and PDF documents from the various anglophone Focus websites (Focus U.S., Focus Canada, Boundless, etc.) for the French website, newsletter, magazine and social media
- Copy-edit lessons for our French Kids of Integrity (Grandir dans l’Intégrité) website.
- Translate various print mail pieces (thank-you letter, templated communication with our constituents, etc.) and other communications such as prayer requests, comments from our constituents, articles written in French for the magazine (for the designers).
Social Media
Maintain social media pages, including Facebook (Focus Famille and Grandir dans l’Intégrité), Instagram, and occasionally X.Together with the Program Lead, establish a monthly calendar of articles to be posted on our social media accounts.Work with design team to prepare necessary imagery for social media posts.Monthly E-Newsletter
Select and work in partnership with Program Leaders on articles to feature for the month in different categories.Website And Online Stores
Update, curate and publish articles and resources for our 3 main French language websites : FocusFamille.ca , Grandirdanslintegrite.com and Librairie.FocusFamille.caWork with English Constituent Response team to fulfill new orders.Send a monthly order export report to finance team.Work with Program Lead to select and upload new products.Check the price and availability of the books on our partner’s website (Publications Chrétiennes).Magazine and Direct Mail Campaigns
Provide administrative assistance for the compiling and content preparation for the magazine and direct mail campaignConstituent Response and General Correspondence
Answer our constituents through various channels (email, social media, mail, etc.).Communicate with Constituent Response team for updates to constituent contact information.Other light duties as required that do not constitute a major change to this roleAbout You
