Job descriptionResponsibilities : Responsible for general ledger activity and preparation of monthly trial balance fileEnsure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions including journal entries, payment of invoices, and reconciliations supporting required financial reportingPreparation of financial / regulatory reporting for CLIMLLiaise with internal and external business partners, regulators, and auditorsAdherence to internal and external policies and regulationsAd hoc duties as requiredQualifications : Completion of post-secondary education preferably in a Finance related fieldCPA designation highly preferred3-5 years’ experience in staff accountant, financial analyst or reporting roleExcellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlinesExperience in Financial Reporting for investment fund managers, and familiarity with associated regulatory requirements (Ontario Securities Commission) an assetPrevious experience supporting financial compliance audits an assetStrong analytical skillsExperience in supervising and / or leading staff within a team environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessional and approachable with an emphasis on collaborative working relationships
