Responsibilities

Commercial Lawyer for Energy Infrastructure Solutions - Supporting Utility heat network and generation business : advising on all aspects of development, sales, construction and operation of energy infrastructure projects such as the biomass combined heat and power plant UK’s largest low carbon heating and cooling systems.

Work with commercial leads to help develop innovative decarbonisation strategies and advise on any changes required to templates and existing contracts as a result of upcoming regulation and decarbonisation of the UK heat market.

Drafting and negotiating a full spectrum of commercial contracts including heat network contracts such as ESCO, waste heat off-take and private wire agreements.

B2B Solutions - Supporting energy solutions business : providing day to day assistance on all aspects of development, sale, procurement, construction and operation of energy solutions projects (including on site and off site PV solar, wind and heat pumps) for industrial and commercial, and public sector customers.

Team and reporting

Join a team of 36 lawyers and compliance experts with 9 Senior Legal Counsels acting as point of contact for their respective business areas, and a Senior Data Protection and Compliance Manager.
