What You’ll Do
- Build advanced cross‑platform apps using Flutter or React Native
- Develop and scale real‑time messaging features (chat, file sharing, 3D model support)
- Optimize for speed, reliability, and responsiveness in real‑world clinical environments
- Implement HIPAA‑compliant security features: encryption, secure auth, access control, audit logs
- Ensure full compliance with healthcare data standards (HIPAA, PIPEDA, GDPR)
- Own the integrity of sensitive data shared across devices and systems
- Collaborate with backend engineers to design and consume secure APIs
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and manage integration with healthcare imaging or 3D data formats (e.g. STL, Blender)
- Contribute to a scalable architecture that supports diverse healthcare workflows
- Monitor, debug, and resolve app crashes or issues using real‑time logs
- Adopt new tools and techniques to improve performance and maintainability
- Work with QA to build automated tests and release with confidence
- Partner with UI/UX designers to ensure polished, intuitive user interfaces
- Use feedback loops to iterate quickly and improve app usability and engagement
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of mobile development experience, with at least one messaging or communication app launched
- Strong skills in Flutter or React Native and a deep understanding of iOS + Android platforms
- Familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with SQL + NoSQL, secure file handling, and scalable data features
- Demonstrated understanding of data privacy and compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, PIPEDA)
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, agile mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience with 3D data workflows (e.g., Blender, dental STL files)
- Prior work in digital health, dental tech, or regulated industries
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards like FHIR or HL7
