Account Analyst

Job Title : Accounts Analyst

Location : Moncton , NB

Shift : Monday To Friday, 8am-4pm

Wage : $ 20 .00 -$2 3 .00 / hour

About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Analyst to join our client's finance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and supporting month-end processes. T he role involves frequent use of this ERP system for day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support business decision-making.
• Perform reconciliations of accounts including bank, AP, AR, and intercompany transactions.
• Maintain general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Generate and analyze financial reports using Sage 300.
• Monitor budget vs. actual spending and identify variances.
• Assist with audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Support accounts payable / receivable processing and ensure accurate entries.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
