Sr. Accountant

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant on behalf of our client. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys playing a central role in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze general ledger entries, monthly/quarterly/year-end closings, and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and assist with internal/external audits
• Oversee payroll processes and drive accuracy in accounts payable/receivable functions
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting efforts
• Support maintenance and improvement of internal controls and accounting procedures
• Manage and report on cash flow, including preparation of cash flow statements and analysis of liquidity needs
• Oversee capital asset accounting: record acquisitions/dispositions, maintain fixed asset schedules, calculate depreciation, and ensure accurate reporting in compliance with accounting policies

• Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Previous experience as a Senior Accountant
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, controls, and financial statement preparation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with leading ERP/accounting systems
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
