Controller to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function of the organization. This opportunity is ideal for a professional with a
strong foundation in public accounting who has already made the move into industry and is now ready to step into a broader, higher-impact role within a scaling profitable business. In this role you will report directly to the CFO and manage the accounting operations team.

Responsibilities: - Fully own and manage all financial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end reporting.
- Oversee and manage all Canadian tax compliance matters.
- Play a key role in the implementation of a new ERP system, replacing current systems (QuickBooks).
- Address and manage complex US sales tax compliance.
- Lead the budgeting and forecast process
- Manage and develop KPIs that help drive business decisions
- Contribute to the automation of financial processes and leverage technology for efficiency.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including the CEO, HR, Legal, IT, and international commercial strategy team.
- Report directly to the CFO and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
Qualifications: - CPA designation with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Must have a started your career in public accounting, with 2+ years industry experience
- Strong experience with inventory management and related provisions
- Demonstrated tech-savviness, including advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- Experience with consolidations and reporting to a parent company structure is preferred but not required
