Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant General Manager to join our team and help us bring exceptional service and hospitality to our guests.

Our amazing restaurant in Prince George is now looking for an Assistant Restaurant General Manager who will be responsible for taking an active role in service during all operating hours.

You will also be responsible for upholding our commitment to quality in service and brand standards with ongoing staff training, maintaining daily communication regarding Food & Beverage details as they relate to service, developing product knowledge through ongoing training, seminars, and tastings, HR management including hiring, training, performance management and schedule writing as well as inventory and cost control management.

Responsibilities :

  • Take an active role in service during all operating hours
  • Uphold a high standard of quality represented in our Food and Beverage programs
  • Coordinate pre-shift meetings with staff members
  • Develop product knowledge through ongoing training seminars
  • Maintain daily communication regarding Food and Beverage details as they relate to service
  • Manage HR duties such as hiring training performance management
  • Manage inventory and cost control
  • Foster relationships with regular clientele
  • Increase guest check average
  • Balance daily cash
  • Meet labor targets etc.

Requirements :

  • At least 2 years of restaurant management experience required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, guest service skills and oral / written communication skills required
  • Strong computer and office administration skills required
  • The ability to train effectively and execute deliver a great guest experience required
  • A passion for food beverage and all things related to the restaurant business required
  • An ability to build foster relationships commitment people development required
  • Current First Aid Serving It Right & Food Safe Certification preferred but not required
