Job description

Job Description

  • Process / product monitoring and evaluation.
  • Monitors and audits production floor adherence to GMP, HACCP and all food safety policies.
  • Data entry and analysis (descriptive and inferential statistics).
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of product / process specifications and SOP's.
  • Supports customer / consumer complaint investigation and evaluation.
  • Assesses supplier / raw material issues.
  • Ensures all products ready to ship are safe for consumption.
  • Performs Quality Assurance (QA) checks as per standard operating procedures when required in the relevant areas and in the absence of any QA personnel.
  • Ensures all non-conforming packaging or products are rejected, isolated and communicated.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of Diploma Level in Food Related disciplines.
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in a bottling manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
