Environmental Engineer

Required Qualifications :

Occasional travel to the US is required ( to times per month)

Minimum of Bachelors Degree in relevant engineering field (Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical).

Professional Engineering License is required.

years relevant experience an asset but will accept new graduates.

Experience with facility systems and activities such as environmental compliance and permitting, certificate of approval (air / noise), waste management, sustainability, energy conservation, utilities supply and distribution, emergency preparedness, an asset.

Familiarity and experience with interpreting and complying with the Environmental Protection Act and Ontario Water Resources Act.

Ability to interpret and develop building and facility drawings and specifications.

Strong skills in project management, organizational, teamwork, written and verbal communication.

Willingness to accept a variety of assignments including those that fall outside of environmental engineering.

Experience in the use of AutoCAD a benefit.

Knowledge in Office Suite software.
