Job description

Randstad Canada is currently hiring a Data Entry Clerk for one of our renowned clients in the document storage field.

It is located in Burnaby.

We are hiring for the following shift :

7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM, Mondays - Fridays

This position pays $19.41 an hour

A reliability clearance will be required.

Responsibilities

The Data Entry Specialist pulls individual medical files from the storage box, identifies required data fields from each file, and enters that information into the database for the client. One box at a time is carried to the workstation, where individual files are pulled and data is entered. When all files have been reviewed, they are returned to the box, which is in turn carried back to the pallet. Maximum storage height on each pallet is 5 boxes. Except for the periods when boxes are physically being moved (5% of time), work is performed from a seated position (95% of time).

Qualifications

  • able to work in a sitting position for the majority of the role
  • must be able to complete a criminal background check
  • This position requires a reliability clearance. This means that you will need to get fingerprinting completed for the role. You will have to pay for the fingerprints, however, you will be reimbursed for the fingerprints after your first month of working. Although you may be offered the position right away, you would not be able to start in the role until the reliability clearance has cleared which could take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.
