  • Respond to user queries and deliver hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and peripherals.

Work Conditions Work primarily in a standard office setting with some physical tasks, including lifting peripherals and configuring workstations. Frequent walking between IT workstations and user support locations. Tight deadlines and conflicting priorities that demand strong organizational skills.

Technical Proficiencies Deep understanding of microcomputers, operating systems, local area networks (LAN), and IT policies. Knowledge of commonly used software (Microsoft Office Suite, diagnostic tools) and recovery procedures. Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving technical issues with hardware, software, and network systems.

Efficiency Optimization Advise and guide end users on best practices to improve system performance and reliability. Assess usage patterns and recommend IT solutions tailored to the organization's needs.

Training and Documentation Develop and deliver IT training for staff, customized to their skill levels, to help maximize productivity. Create and maintain technical documentation, including operational procedures, guidelines, and training materials.

Network Administration Configure network servers, shared resources, cabling, and communication protocols. Manage data backup schedules, perform file restorations, and ensure data security compliance.

Hardware and Software Management Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and related peripherals. Implement client-approved software (e.g., Microsoft Office, virus detection solutions) and ensure updates are completed.
