Research Assistant

What you’ll be doing :

• Coordinate, implement, maintain, report on and assist with logistics related to large and small evaluation and research projects
• Maintain and implement research protocols
• Recruit and facilitate data collection in-person, over the telephone or via email, using paper-based or electronic methods
• Enter and maintain data into electronic database and / or paper-based databases
• Report issues related to the implementation of a research or evaluation project to the Project Manager or Principal Investigator
• Conduct literature searches and summarize findings
• Support the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data
• Maintain participant lists and records and prepare participant recruitment materials
• Maintain project filing systems (paper-based and electronic), project hardware (, tablets) and other project related technology
• Prepare reports, record issues / solutions and provide project summaries
• Communicate proactively and regularly with the Principal Investigator and / or Project Manager and project team, working groups and other stakeholders to keep parties informed (, achievement of progress markers, delays in data collection, etc.)
• Support the generation and dissemination of communication materials related to projects (, presentations, background materials, posters, abstracts and / or publications)
