Job description

A typical day would involve :

  • Lead and manage the Command Center team for continuous 24 / 7 monitoring, incident detection, response, and resolution.
  • Oversee Major Incident and Problem Management processes, conducting Root Cause Analysis reviews for continuous improvement. Develop requirement to implement proactive monitoring tools and ensure timely response to alerts within SLA.
  • Lead the Disaster recovery team and collaborate with ITS team to ensure Disaster Recovery dry runs, schedule and DR testing are tracked accordingly to ensure business continuity.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a high-performance team culture. Conduct regular performance reviews, providing professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure and teams to address unresolved problems and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations and procedures. Generate regular reports on network performance and incidents. Collaborate with the security and infrastructure teams for policy enforcement, capacity planning.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, evaluate and recommend new tools for the Command Center efficiency. Develop and maintain plans for emergency response and disaster recovery. Coordinate and lead efforts during major incidents and collaborate with vendors and service providers

You have :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Experience with incident and problem management processes and tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with IT infrastructure teams, security teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience with Cloud Solutions (Azure, AWS) and Observability tools.

    The salary range for the role is $102,200 to $153,200 and a candidate’s offer is likely to be up to the mid-point of the role ($127,700) . The upper half of the salary range is typically reserved for individuals who have demonstrated consistent strong performance in the role and possess a high level of job knowledge and skill.
