We have a unique opportunity that allows you to really flex your skill set. The current Office Manager / Principal Broker is retiring so we are looking for her successor. She is a wonderful ambassador for her clients, the brokerage, and the insurance industry, so you will get to learn and be mentored from one of the best to support a seamless transition. In this role you will have full oversight for the day-to-day operations of the brokerage. You will also have the ability to do the account reconciliation, AP & AR, as well as service a book of clients, serve as the Principal Broker. With this opportunity you will have your hands in all aspects of the business supported by a larger team at Collectivfide.This role is an in-office position in our Kitchener location. Actual salary at time of offer will depend on overall level of experience. So, What Will You Spend Your Days Doing?  Full cycle client support – quote, new business, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, etc. for a book of business. Serve as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers. Office administration tasks including account reconciliation, month end processing, bank deposits, AP & AR etc. Conduct detailed reviews of risk and underwriting information to ensure accuracy andoptimal insurance solutions for your clients. Recognize and realize sales opportunities where it makes sense. Remarket lines policies as necessary. Take new claim reports and submit them to the insurance carrier. Diligent follow-up on clients’ accounts to ensure outstanding activities are resolved. Qualifications Must be RIBO licensed. Minimum 3-5 years Broker experience in personal lines, commercial lines is an asset. Proven track record servicing all aspects of an assigned book of business. Prior experience with office administration, bookkeeping, account reconciliation or month end processing in an insurance brokerage. Remain current and develop expertise in assigned markets, staying open to new market opportunities. Must remain professional and always serve as a company ambassador.  RIBO Level 2 is an asset but must be willing to obtain it (company supported). Working knowledge of PowerBroker is an asset.Must either have or be willing to get Principal Broker license.
