Job Title : Quality Inspector- Inbound

Primary Objective of Role : The inbound quality inspector works with the DC receiving team to inspect incoming products based on a list provided by QA management, reporting any quality concerns related to product or packaging to a QA supervisor or manager. The inspector also responds to branch requests and quality ticket investigations from corporate.

Functional Areas of Responsibility :

  • Maintain inventory of tools, instruments, and measuring devices.
  • Collaborate with the receiving team to ensure timely movement of products from docks.
  • Keep accurate records of container inspections and productivity.
  • Provide branches with photos of products in the DC as requested.

Key Objectives of Role :

Identify quality concerns before products reach customers to minimize claims. Support other departments with product-specific information.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Perform quality inspections on daily inbound consignments of tile & stone products.
  • Conduct spot checks and inspections as requested by QA management or Supply Chain.
  • Provide photos of products in the DC to sales teams and branches.
  • Identify quality issues and report them to QA supervising associates.
  • Assist with rework projects in the warehouse when needed.
  • Support DC operations teams as required.
  • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or higher education.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Flexible schedule, including long hours / overtime in various conditions.
  • Regular attendance without conflicting personal issues.
  • Strong analytical, reasoning, and communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently.
  • Additional Requirements :

    Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
