We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client's team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In this role, you will manage invoicing, collections, and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities :
- Process and record sales invoices and customer payments accurately and efficiently in the company’s system.
- Perform account reconciliations and prepare weekly and monthly reports on receivables and collections.
- Support financial reporting and analysis activities related to accounts receivable.
- Maintain communication with customers to monitor collections and send reminders for outstanding invoices.
- Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to address and resolve any collection issues.
- Conduct credit checks for new clients to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with customers to foster trust and timely payments.
- Follow all food safety protocols and report any concerns to the appropriate team.
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Entry-level candidate with a diploma or degree in business accounting from a recognized institution.
- At least one year of experience working in an accounting environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement processes and Lean strategies to enhance efficiency.
