Position Summary

The Manager, Information Technology is accountable for the management of all computer and information technology systems and services for the Society. Plans, manages, and evaluates information technology programs, reporting staff, and resources to meet and supersede the requirements of existing legislation, regulation, and guidelines as well as Society’s policies, procedures, standards, and strategic plan directions.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in computer science, information systems, information technology or related field.
• Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert certification is an asset.
• 7+ years of experience in a field directly related to the job with increasing accountability and complexity.
• 3+ years of experience in formal people management (e.g. set goals, coaching, performance management), preferably in a unionized environment.
• Previous budget and / or financial accountability experience.
• An equivalent combination of relevant education, experience and training may be considered as appropriate.
