Job Summary

Join the MCFD's community-based Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) team, where you will play a crucial role in promoting mental health and well-being for young individuals in your community. As a Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician, you will provide essential support to children and youth from birth to 18 years old and their families. Your responsibilities will include conducting intake assessments, personalized treatment plans, suicide risk assessments, developing safety plans, and delivering effective crisis interventions
You will work flexibly in various settings such as homes, schools, and community spaces, meeting families where they are and collaborating with them, as well as with schools and community partners, to provide coordinated services and support. This role requires strong clinical expertise, a collaborative approach, and a dedication to building relationships that empower children, youth, and their families.

NOTE : If your degree was obtained outside of Canada, you need to confirm it has been assessed for equivalency through the International Credential Evaluation Services ( ICES ). You must provide a basic report by the closing date of this posting to be considered.

This position has full time on-site requirements.This position can be based in any of the following Ministry of Children & Family Development offices : Keremeos, Oliver, Osoyoos
