Lock Search Group is excited to present an opportunity for a dynamic Business Development Representative to join our client's team in Milton and London, Ontario . Our client excels in logistics, warehousing, and distribution services, providing an extensive array of supply chain solutions. This role, requiring local travel, offers a thrilling chance to contribute to growth and innovation within the Logistics and Supply Chain sector. Responsibilities:

• New Business Prospecting : Identify and target potential clients throughout Canada, conduct market research, engage prospects through various channels, and secure meetings to sell truckload and brokerage services.
• D iscovery, Negotiation, and Closure : Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for client discovery and service scoping, provide responsive service and pricing proposals, assist with competitive proposals and negotiations, and prepare finalized contracts.
• S trategy and Market Analysis : Set and achieve sales targets, monitor market trends and competitive landscape, analyze existing client base for growth opportunities, and develop strategic plans to expand the customer base.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field).
• 3+ years in business development or sales within customs brokerage, transportation, or 3PL Logistics industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional negotiation abilities, and a results-oriented mindset.
• Proactive approach to accountability, excellent organizational skills, and strong analytical abilities.
• Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
