THE ROLE
Mess Supervisor (Hospitality Supervisor) – provides an excellent customer experience in military messes, supervising and training employees, planning and organizing mess activities, bar service and overall operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide hands‑on assistance in planning, organizing, supervising mess activities, bar service and mess operations.
- Supervise and train employees, prepare work schedules and ensure accuracy for payroll.
- Ensure strict health, hygiene and safety requirements are met.
- Interact directly with clientele, taking orders and assisting with setup and takedown of functions.
- Contribute to a positive workplace as part of a team.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma.Several years of experience in food and beverage service or related hospitality field.Legal age to serve alcohol and possess a Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.Valid driver’s licence is an asset.EXPERIENCE
Hospitality and bar operations services.Budget administration.Cash handling, bank deposits and floats.Event planning and organizing.Inventory control.Personnel administration.COMPETENCIES
