A large 3PL business is seeking a Director of Business Development to spearhead expansion in 3PL services. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative company committed to delivering excellence in contract logistics.

Base pay range

CA$250,000.00/yr - CA$260,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets in 3PL services
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by leveraging market insights and relationships
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with clients, ensuring long-term collaboration and satisfaction
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs and drive operational excellence
• Lead negotiations and manage contracts to ensure favourable terms for all parties
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market

Qualifications

• Proven track record in business development within the logistics and supply chain sector, specifically in 3PL services
• Strong network of industry contacts and the ability to build lasting relationships
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
• Experience in managing complex contracts and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
