Responsibilities :
- Direct responsibility for all aspects of the manufacturing process, including production planning, scheduling, quality control, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and workforce management.
- Lead a team of production supervisors, manufacturing engineers, welders, and assembly technicians, to meet production targets and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and implement manufacturing programs and strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, equipment, and processes to improve manufacturing capability and maintain competitiveness in the market.
Qualifications :
- Post-Secondary Education in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ year’s experience in a manufacturing department, managing an equipment and manufacturing team.
- Strong knowledge and experience of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and agricultural equipment design and engineering principles.
- Working knowledge of ERP Systems and manufacturing software. Proficiency in CAD Software and other relevant tools.
