Responsibilities :

Fleet and Operator Performance Management

  • Ensure fleet management reports are updated monthly, accurately tracking performance metrics.
  • Manage and oversee fleet technology and tracking systems to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and performance management for operators and operations staff, driving continuous improvement.

Oversee Capital and Operational Budget

  • Oversee the capital and operational budget for fleet and facilities, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and proactively manage fleet-related expenses to maximize profitability.
  • Fleet Utilization, Optimization, and Management

  • Monitor and optimize fleet utilization to ensure operational efficiency and cost control.
  • Implement best practices and technologies for fleet management
  • Operational Planning and Alignment

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term operational strategies aligned with corporate growth goals.
  • Ensure SOP’s are updated and followed by all.
  • Operational Compliance

  • Ensure operations are conducted safely and comply with all relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety and compliance across team.
  • Tailgate Chair Responsibilities

  • Facilitate tailgate meetings, ensuring all operational incidents and issues are escalated and reported to Leadership Level 10 (L10).
  • Follow up on operational challenges to ensure timely resolutions.
  • LMA (Leadership, Management, Accountability)

  • Provide leadership to the operations team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and core values.
  • Hold team members accountable for their responsibilities while fostering a high performance culture.
  • Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum 5 -8 years of experience in operations, logistics, 2-3 of these years in a management role.
  • Education : Diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Leadership and team management abilities.
  • Financial budgeting and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with fleet management systems and technologies.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
