Job Summary
This is Clearbridges first dedicated People & Culture leadership role. Youll sit at the management table partner directly with the CEO and architect the people systems programs and culture needed to support a fast-growing values-driven organization.
This is not a back-office HR role. Its a hands-on strategic leadership position for someone who knows how to connect people strategy to business outcomes and isnt afraid to build improve and challenge whats needed to help a company scale well.
Youll own the full employee lifecycle from hire to retire and be the connective tissue across the organization. Youll translate business goals into people programs and people insights into business role is for someone who thrives in fast-paced high-growth environments and can move with equal confidence between strategy sessions and hands-on execution.
Responsibilities & Expectations
Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition
- Lead annual workforce planning to align hiring needs with business growth
- Build and execute recruitment strategies that attract A-players
- Develop Clearbridges employer brand and talent pipeline.
- Support hiring managers through structured high-quality hiring processes
Onboarding & Development
Design and deliver Clearbridges onboarding experience leveraging HRIS and internal programsCreate and run manager onboarding sessionsManage training and development programs including leveraging job grants and skill-building initiativesEmployee Relations & Performance
Serve as the trusted advisor for employee relations issues from performance gaps to complex interpersonal dynamicsCoach managers through difficult conversations and performance managementProactively identify and resolve friction points before they escalateTotal Rewards & Recognition
Manage and administer annual performance review cycles compensation planning and pay increases bonus programming (including budgeting partnership with Finance )Benefits program ownershipEmployee Engagement & Culture
Plan and execute All Hands meetings company events (e.g. holiday parties) and ad-hoc engagement initiatives (e.g. Lunch & Learns)Monitor and improve employee engagement through surveys feedback loops and action planningBe the keeper and champion of Clearbridges culture and valuesSystems & Operations
Build HR dashboards and reporting to inform leadership decisionsEnsure compliance with employment law employment standards and HR best practicesWho You Are
Required :
5 to 10 years of progressive HR experience most recently in a senior generalist capacityCPHR designation (or actively pursuing)Demonstrated experience building and managing HR programs from scratch in a high-growth or scaling environmentStrong employee relations skills with a track record of handling sensitive situations with discretion and fairnessExperience managing annual performance cycles compensation planning and benefits programsProficiency with HRIS systems (BambooHR experience is a plus)Exceptional communication skills : you can translate complex HR topics for executives managers and employees alikeBusiness acumen : you connect people programs to business outcomesNice-to-Haves :
