JOB SUMMARY
The Facilities Maintenance & Support Branch in Water Facilities & Treatment is the centre of expertise in the delivery of maintenance planning, life cycle performance optimization, and maintenance management support services for its assigned client groups including Wastewater Pump Stations, Wastewater Treatment, and Water Production East and West Branches.
You are responsible for :
- administering, and optimizing the functionality of, the department's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) application and associated document management databases (including tools for asset information management, asset inventory control, asset maintenance reporting, equipment maintenance and breakdown information management, application change control, and customization) for assigned client group(s)
- co-ordinating and collaborating with internal and / or external IT staff to implement enhancements
- business process review / development / enhancement and documentation to support departmental asset management strategies, and
- contributing to the development, review and improvement of performance indicators and other tools
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of 3 year post-secondary education in an engineering or business administration / systems discipline with strong computer skills, or computer science
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting plant maintenance activities, business process analysis, and computerized maintenance management systems OR providing business process and technical support for a computerized maintenance management system
Experience in a municipal or industrial environment is desirable
