Electrical CAD Designer

GeoSpectrum is growing and has a new career opportunity for an Electrical Designer to join our team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia!

As the Electrical CAD Designer, you will focus on developing electrical drawings for our underwater acoustic systems. You’ll play a key role in creating detailed designs, supporting the build and test of electronic components while ensuring project success.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical drawings for wire runs, panel layouts, rack assemblies and circuit designs
• Create and maintain BOMs
• Draft schematics that accurately represent the electrical components and connections
• Support the design, build and test of electronic components and sub-assemblies, including : wiring harnesses, electronics enclosures, racks and Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)
• Maintain and update project files and documentation
• Collaborate with project team to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues

Qualifications

Security Requirements
