1. POSITION SUMMARY

Are you passionate about engineering and data management? Do you want to play a key role in Norbec's digital transformation by designing robust and innovative solutions for data analysis, valorization and governance? Join us in building the data architecture of tomorrow!

In addition, you will contribute to the progressive integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into Norbec's data ecosystem.

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL / ELT pipelines on Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory.
  • Model, structure and document data architectures (Data Lake, Lakehouse, data warehouses).
  • Automate the processing, transformation, and integration of data from multiple sources (internal and external).
  • Ensure data quality, security and governance (monitoring, data lineage, compliance).
  • Collaborate with BI, data science, DevOps, and business teams to meet analytical and operational needs.
  • Develop advanced dashboards (Power BI, DAX) and automated reporting solutions.
  • Participate in technology monitoring and propose innovative solutions adapted to the company's challenges.
  • Actively contribute to Norbec's digital transformation strategy by playing key role in the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into business processes and data solutions.
  • Document technical processes and train internal users as needed.
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven experience in developing ETL / ELT pipelines on Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, DAX (asset).
  • Experience with Spark, Databricks, Data Lake, Lakehouse.
  • Knowledge of data security, governance and monitoring principles.

    • Experience in automation, CI / CD, Git.

  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and to communicate effectively with technical and business profiles.
  • Strong interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning (experience with Azure ML, Fabric AI, or Python is an asset).
  • Bilingualism French / English (oral and written).
