LeverageTek is actively seeking a Business Systems Analyst (Oracle Data Migration and Integration Technical Consultant (Project Management PPM) for a 12-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Key Tasks
- Responsible for end-to-end data migration-designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions to seamlessly connect Oracle E-Business Suite with various third-party applications and systems.
- You will work closely with our implementation partner and business SMEs to understand business requirements, assess existing systems, and take ownership of the data migration lifecycle to optimize processes, uphold data security, and ensure compliance throughout the engagement.
- Develop Technical and Functional Specifications : Collaborate with SMEs to capture requirements and align with the defined Data Migration Strategy.
- Data Auditing, Cleansing, and Governance : Implement and oversee data validation and cleansing processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established governance standards.
- Adhere to Data Migration and Integration Design Strategy : Follow documented development processes and standards for Oracle E-Business Suite solutions, ensuring best practices are consistently applied.
- Integration with Legacy & External Systems : Liaise with product vendors, functional analysts, and business SMEs to finalize integration mappings with Deltek Ajera, Deltek Vision, SAP, and banking payment portals to support seamless data flows.
- Prepare Deployment Instructions : Create clear deployment guidelines for all technical components and support change migration activities.
- Document and Maintain Code : Provide clear, maintainable documentation for all code changes and scripts.
- Technical Testing and Automation : Perform unit testing for code changes, including automation where feasible, to ensure robust, error-free operations.
- Impact Analysis and Conflict Resolution : Analyze potential conflicts with existing system configurations / CEMLls, resolve issues, and obtain design validations prior to development.
- Design, Code, Test, and Document Solutions : Develop Oracle ERP-based technical solutions and integrations, ensuring they meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Recommend Innovative Approaches : Proactively propose solutions that improve efficiency, data quality, or system performance.
- Data Security and Regulatory Compliance : Collaborate with internal security teams and external vendors to ensure that all data migration activities, especially those involving financial or sensitive data, comply with relevant policies, regulations, and standards.
- Develop Unit Test Scripts and Support SIT / UAT : Deliver comprehensive test scripts and participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, addressing defects and ensuring readiness for production.
- Post-Deployment Support : Provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting to guarantee data integrity, system stability, and seamless integration with internal and external applications.
Key Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite data migration and integration projects, with demonstrated knowledge of Finance, Procurement, and Project Portfolio Management.Experience with data governance processes and methodologies, especially in the context of large-scale ERP implementations.Experience collaborating with SMEs to capture requirements and align with the defined Data Migration Strategy.Qualifications
Proficiency with PL / SQL, scripting languages, and Oracle integration tools (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Data Integrator).Excellent communication skills with the ability to document technical requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and align solutions with business objectives.Experience with compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX, or other relevant financial regulations) is a plus.Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, capable of coordinating multiple data migration tasks under tight deadlines.Assets
