Job Description
Base Salary - $52,500 + Profit Sharing
We are currently seeking new or recent graduates to join our Management Development Program . This is a full‑time, salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to earn profit sharing. Successful candidates may be required to relocate within Canada to complete training. Relocation assistance will be provided.
The Role
As a Management Trainee, you will progress through a 4‑phase program to learn every aspect of our business : shipping and receiving, counter sales, operations management, employee development, and more. You will grow a sales territory and provide world‑class customer service. Guidance, mentoring, and support will come from current managers across Canada.
Program Outline
Phase 1 (12 months) : Warehouse and Customer Service – Build product knowledge and gain hands‑on experience with logistics, customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory, pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more.
Phase 2 (12 months) : Customer Relationships and Procurement – Manage large‑scale projects, read blueprint drawings, and create quotes of materials required by customers.
Phase 3 (15‑18 months) : Account Management and Proactive Sales – Find new business opportunities, sell products, negotiate contracts, and build level‑5 customer partnerships.
Phase 4 (3 months) : Leadership and Operations – Provide strategic vision, lead a team, mentor others, and run the business focusing on leadership competencies.
After completing the phases, you will be ready to manage a Canadian Profit Center location.
