Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is conducting a confidential search for a Lead Engineer specializing in Adobe Target and digital experimentation to join a large enterprise eCommerce engineering organization.
This role is not traditional web development.
You will own personalization, experimentation, and conversion optimization across a complex digital platform used by a global customer base.
You'll help shape how customers experience the site — using data, testing, and behavioral targeting rather than opinion.
What You'll Own
Design and execute A / B and multivariate tests in Adobe Target
Build personalized experiences and audience segmentation strategies
Integrate Adobe Target with Adobe Analytics, AEM, and tagging frameworks
Partner with product, UX, and marketing teams to define test hypotheses
Implement front-end experiences using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Analyze experiment performance and recommend optimization strategies
Ensure accurate tracking, tagging, and reporting
Troubleshoot Target implementations and deployment issues
Propose innovative personalization and experimentation use cases
You will be the technical leader behind experimentation strategy — not just a ticket-based implementer.
Required Experience
8+ years in software engineering, digital optimization, or web engineering
4+ years hands-on Adobe Target implementation experience
Strong JavaScript development and browser debugging skills
Experience running experimentation programs (A / B or multivariate testing)
Experience integrating Adobe Target with Adobe Analytics or similar platforms
Technical Environment
Adobe Target (VEC, Form-Based, APIs)
Adobe Analytics & Experience Cloud integrations
Adobe Launch / Tags / Web SDK
REST APIs, JSON, and browser scripting
HTML DOM manipulation and developer tools
Preferred
Adobe Experience Platform or CDP familiarity
eCommerce or enterprise digital platform experience
Personalization and audience segmentation strategies
Data privacy awareness (GDPR, CCPA)
Agile engineering environments
