Our Client, a leading national distributor of industrial products, is seeking a business developer to drive new business opportunities in an assigned territory within the Nova Scotia Region. Our Client supports several market segments through customized supply chain solutions, serving nearly 100,000 unique customers through a significant hub-and-spoke branch network.
You will manage and grow a defined territory and develop new clients and market opportunities to increase sales revenue and profitability.
Additionally :
- Manage existing client relationships and provide value-added services
- Develop a base portfolio of new customers
- Increase sales volume by identifying new opportunities and introducing new products with established customers
- Developing and executing a call plan, performing business reviews, maintaining a full sales pipeline, price negotiation, quarterly customer reviews, new product introduction and execution of regional and national programs
- Support and execution of direct marketing and operational initiatives
- Support selected vendor programs, make calls with vendors, follow corporate direction on vendor contact and cost negotiation, support marketing initiatives and support online ordering
- Responsible for maintaining customer sales activity in Salesforce or other tools as mandated by the organization
- To consistently achieve established sales, margin and customer profitability targets
