Production Supervisor

* 3 - 5 years manufacturing supervisory experience preferably in a unionized facility.

* Demonstrated leadership ability.

* Pro-active demonstrated safety management experience and training a definite asset.

* Formal technical or business education is an asset.

* Previous experience in decentralized maintenance, TPM, or Overall Equipment Efficiency an asset.

* Knowledge of continuous improvement, Kaizen, and familiarity with Lean manufacturing an asset.

* Solid PC skills are required including general knowledge of Work and Excel.

* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, team building, conflict resolution, and effective written and verbal communication skills.

* Considerable initiative and the ability to contribute to team success with proven management and leadership skills.

* Proficient in multi-tasking a number of projects.
