Recreation Worker / Coordinator

Adecco is actively seeking a dedicated Recreation Worker / Coordinator to join our clients team in Gold River, BC. Responsibilities :

Assist with the planning and execution of daily events and recreation activities for the children.

Participate in the planning of community holiday events, including the Christmas Party, Easter, etc.

Facilitate activities for the children.

Collaborate with other program staff to ensure the health and well-being of the children.

Guide, demonstrate, and encourage children's activities throughout the day

Document observations on the children and complete any reports where required.

Collaborates with other education staff to support education programs

Ensures equipment and supplies are clean, maintained and stored in a safe and efficient manner.

Coordinate physical spaces, program leaders and materials required for programs and events

Requirements :

Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

Post-secondary education in human or social service coursework or related field

Minimum 1 year of experience in recreation / activity programming

Strong administrative and communication skills

Ability to work well in team settings and prioritize tasks

First aid and CPR certification preferred, experience in First Nation Communities considered an asset

RCMP clearance, within the last 12 months in addition to a Vulnerable Sector check.
