Salary :
50.07 - 56.75 / hr, depending on experience and qualifications, as per the BCGEU Faculty Collective Agreement. Temporary employees receive an additional 2% in lieu of benefits, 6% vacation and 4.2% statutory holiday pay included with each pay period. Staff in this division may opt to enroll in the College Pension Plan with contributions being matched by the employer.
Description :
NLC requires a sessional instructor to teach one section of HSCI 100 : Introduction to Health Sciences . The delivery of this course lecture will be provided in the evenings via MS Office Teams, with the Lab component being offered on campus on designated Saturdays. In addition to weekly prep time some additional prep hours have been provided prior to the start of the classes.
Health Sciences 100 : Introduction to Health Sciences is designed for students considering a career in health care and is particularly intended for individuals who are preparing for UNBC's new Northern Baccalaureate Nursing Program.
