Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting department, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in various accounting software.

Duties

  • Manage all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, payroll, and account reconciliation.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial stability and growth.
  • Oversee the implementation of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or other relevant platforms.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support business decisions.
  • Ensure timely processing of payroll and adherence to tax regulations.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to guide financial planning.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in finance or accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including budgeting and account analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar tools is essential.
  • Experience in payroll processing and accounts payable management is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
