Our client, a Quebec-based company recognized for the quality of its custom and high-end products and its manufacturing expertise, is undergoing significant evolution. They are looking for a Director of Operations – Manufacturing Plant who can turn growth ambitions into concrete results by structuring and optimizing the activities of our Quebec factory.

What We Expect From You

• Manage manufacturing operations on a daily basis, with a strategic eye on planning, production, procurement, logistics, inventory management, continuous improvement, engineering, and performance.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that will advance the factory and its teams. (Quality, HSE, preventive maintenance).
• Mobilize and develop a committed team by fostering a culture of collaboration, rigor, and continuous improvement.
• Optimize the use of resources, equipment, and technologies to increase productivity and quality.
• Manage operational budgets and recommend necessary investments for growth.
• Be a change agent: build, structure, and solidify the foundations to support long-term growth.

The Desire Profile

• Bachelor’s degree, training in engineering, operations management or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing managgement, including solid experience in plant management.
• Mobilizing leadership: you inspire trust and commitment.
• Proven experience in implementing processes and improving operational performance.
• Good mastery of Lean/Kaizen practices and proficiency with ERP systems.
• Functional bilingualism (French/English).
