THE OPPORTUNITY

EBC is seeking a dynamic and bilingual Communications Advisor to play a key role in developing and executing our internal and external communication strategies. Reporting to the Communications Manager, this person will be instrumental in promoting EBC’s mission, vision, values, and achievements across various platforms. They will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to internal teams, crafting compelling narratives and ensuring consistent brand alignment. RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Advice and Planning

• Collaborate with the Director and Communications Manager to provide informed recommendations that enhance the company’s internal and external communication strategies, publications, and tools.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive communication plans, including the definition of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness.
• Champion EBC’s brand identity by ensuring its consistent application across all communication channels and aligning messaging with the company’s overall objectives and strategic plan.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement communication strategies for internal and external audiences. Proven experience managing communication projects from concept to completion. Strong ability to develop engaging content for various platforms (website, intranet, social media, email, print). Experience with website content management systems (CMS) and intranet platforms. Knowledge of digital marketing principles and social media best practices.
