Job description

What you’ll do :

The Flexible Support Clerk is responsible for but not limited to :

  • Providing an exceptional level of customer service at all Prairie Co-op locations and maintaining a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards, including meeting established productivity standards.
  • Able to work at multiple locations and departments within Prairie Co-op and able to travel to various communities within Prairie Co-op’s trading area within a short notice.
  • Will be responsible for working independently as well as within various teams within Prairie Co-op.
  • Ensures prompt and efficient, and friendly customer service is provided at all times to maintain high customer service levels and ensure customer satisfaction is met.
  • Promotes and ensures all company and food safety policies and procedures are met, including the safe handling and storage of product.
  • Make sure optimal merchandising, which includes effective visual displays on the floor, efficient stocking of inventory in storage areas. Ensure Co-op image standards are maintained.
  • Assist in ensuring all applicable company policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to and ensure safety and regulatory requirements and procedures and implemented and maintained.

Who you are :

If you are looking for a career in Customer Service and have :

  • You have a valid driver’s license.
  • Flexibility in regard to scheduling.
  • Must be willing to acquire forklift and propane certification which will be provided on site.
  • Point of sale experience is considered an asset.
